Is admission to the event free?

Admission is free for those arriving by air or by land upon online registration.

Is it possible to fly to the event?

During the event it is possible to land and stop at the San Damiano airport with general aviation aircraft and basic and advanced ultralights

Is there a specific procedure to follow to land?

Those arriving by flight can follow the instructions and procedures indicated in the In-Flight Guide published on this site.

Can basic VDS land?

Yes, during the event days the airport is also open to basic VDS traffic.

Can I leave the plane parked for more than one day?

Yes, it is possible to park for several days and leave the plane parked overnight. Please indicate your arrival and departure dates during registration.

Is there car parking available?

The airport has a large free, unattended car park close to the event area.

Can I leave my car in the parking lot in the evening?

No, it is not permitted to leave cars parked beyond the evening closing time of the event.

Can I arrive by train?

The reference railway station is Piacenza, connected to the main cities. From the station you can reach the airport by taxi or with a dedicated shuttle during the days of the event.

Are there refreshment points within the event?

You will find several bars and eateries with a wide choice of food and drinks, including hot dishes, sandwiches, street food and vegetarian options. There are also picnic areas in dedicated green areas within the event.
