Fly in

During the event, it is possible to land and park at the airport free of charge with general aviation aircraft and basic and advanced ultralights, subject to mandatory online registration on the Aircraft Registration page. For those arriving by air, it is mandatory to follow the procedures reported in the In-Flight Guide.

Arriving by land

Entrance is free upon mandatory online registration on the Visitor Registration page.

By car

San Damiano Airport is located a few kilometers from Piacenza, in a position easily reachable from the motorway network. For those arriving from:

  • Milan: A1 motorway towards Bologna, Piacenza Sud exit
  • Bologna: A1 motorway towards Milan, Piacenza Sud exit
  • Torino: A21 motorway towards Piacenza, Piacenza Ovest exit.

The car entrance is on Via del Colombarone. There is a free unattended car park inside the airport that is accessible during the entire opening hours of the event. It is not permitted to leave cars parked beyond the evening closing time of the event.

By train

The nearest train station is Piacenza, served by regional, Intercity and Frecciarossa trains from Milan, Bologna, Turin, Genoa and other major cities. From Piacenza station you can reach San Damiano airport by taxi.
